Where To Buy Naked 2 Palette [TOP]

Busted appears purple in the palette but is really a dark brown shade with purple tones. Its counterpart in MAC Mystery is next to near hard to discern in the swatches below. It took me a while to figure out a dupe that compared well to Busted, but Mystery fits the bill.

Awesome post! Like the Naked 1, I found that between UD singles and MAC shadows and matte black (I have several in various palettes) I have 6 of these colors already. Guess I will be passing on this one and get the Naked 3!

I have the Naked (not Naked 2) palette and I love using it for everyday make up. But my sister has the Naked 2 palette and even though before I thought that only one of these is enough, now I think both are neccessary! They are so similar but so different! xx

The packaging of the Naked2 Basics is pretty much identical to the original Naked Basics save for the slightly paler color and darker lettering on the front lid. It even has the same suede-like feel and a soft golden sheen when light reflects off the surface. The palette has a full-sized mirror inside but lacks any type of applicator.

Having said that, if you are pale and/or cool-toned, you may prefer the Naked2 Basics over the original. And if black is not a necessity for you, or if you are just looking for a compact neutral palette that you can use to create the most minimal eye looks with a soft smokey/hazy effect, then the Naked2 Basics is for you.

I feel the same, too, Melissa! The first four shades are very similar (same goes for the original Naked Basics, too). They are right about using these palettes in conjunction with their big sister Naked palettes!

As you know Urban Decay Naked 2 launched last week. What an incredible launch! With 5,000 palettes to go around it sold out in the blink of an eye and today when it came back in stock again it was gone as quick as the Flash.

I just compared your reviews of both palettes (looking at the swatches) & I like these colours so much more!! Naked 1 was mostly browns & golds, whereas this one has more taupes & pink-ish shades. I love it!

Pros: Versatile palette in terms of colour and texture, Tin case makes it sturdy and less grotty looking, Brush included is serviceable on the go but otherwise do not do the colours and textures justice, Shimmer colours are soft and pigmented and blend very easily

I was so excited about Naked Palette 2 and wanted it immediately, although I already have the 1st palette. After thinking about it and a lot of discouragement from both mom and boyfriend, I decided against it. Thanks for doing this review, especially about the lipgloss (I can hardly see it on your lips!), now I can save my money for something else!

Colour wise, the Naked 2 palette is the coolest guy (do you get it? Ha-ha) of them all. It does have a couple slightly warmer shades, but the overall feel of this palette is definitely cool-toned. The palette also contains a nice mix between matte and shimmery shades.

This Naked Basics 2 palette is marketed as the more cooler sister of the Original Basics 1 palette. Well, I have to say that I disagree. Although this palette contains a couple of cooler toned eyeshadows, it also has some warmer shades in it and I think the Original Basics 1 palette is a bit cooler. So weird right?

Thats such a nice palette! But I do already own the 2 naked palettes and cannot stop myself from getting the 3rd. So that should suffice for a ton of nuetrals. But such a gorgeous inexpensive option!! ?

The backstory: In 2010, Urban Decay unveiled the Naked palette, a collection of 12 easy-to-wear bronzed neutral shadow shades. The combination of shimmers, sparkles, and mattes was an immediate hit, sparking an entire family of Naked palettes. Naked 2, released in 2011, has 12 additional shades ranging from taupe to copper to black.

"The palette shades cover just about every eye look I'd want to try, which admittedly isn't many: shimmery, smoky, muted," says Ada, above. "Got those bases covered. For a night out, I'd add a nude lip."

I find this palette ideal if you have a warm skin tone and pairs nicely with gold jewelry. The Naked1 Palette revolutionized neutral eye shadows forever! This palette contains 12 warm neutral shades that range from matte nude to shimmering metallic gunmetal. There are more shimmer finishes in this palette than matte, but the variety is still there. My favourite shades are Buck, Half Baked, and Darkhorse. This palette is perfect for creating everyday looks and the shadows can easily be built up to create evening-appropriate looks as well.

This palette is neutral enough to compliment all skin tones, so everyone can pull this one off effortlessly! This palette consists of 12 highly pigmented neutrals. All of the shades have a matte finish, so matte-addicts are going to love this one! The shade range is quite extensive ranging from a light nude all the way to a warm black. My favourite shades in this palette are Blow, Extra Bitter, and Lockout. This palette is perfect for everyday looks and Extra Bitter is such a perfect shade for creating fall looks!

This palette is cooler in tone than the original, making it best suited for those with cool skin tones. While Naked 1 looks great with gold jewelry, the Naked 2 palette is great for those who wear a lot of silver. This palette contains 12 rich taupe-hued neutrals that are far from boring! The shade range consists of cooler tones from a creamy bisque to a golden bronze shimmer, to the blackest-black matte. 8 out of the 12 shades are shimmers in this palette and you are easily able to create a variety of looks with it.My favourite shades are Chopper, Suspect, and Pistol. These shades all look great on their own for an effortlessly glam look but still work well with the other shades in the palette too!

Like the Ultimate Basics palette, the Naked 3 works well with all skin tones so everyone can pull these shades off with ease! This palette includes 12 rose-hued neutrals ranging from the palest pink matte to a smoky black with sparkling flecks of red! There are a few more shimmer shadows in this palette than matte ones, but again, the variety is still there! My favourite shades in this palette are Burnout, Trick, and Factory. Millennial Pink and rose gold hues are a huge trend right now and this palette has all the shades you need to achieve the look!

This is definitely the hottest Naked eyeshadow palette yet! It includes 12 amber-hued neutrals which include warm browns, burnt oranges, and rich siennas. My favourite shades are Lumbre, Dirty Talk, and He Devil. While this palette certainly brings the heat, it also makes the perfect fall eyeshadow palette and is going to perfectly match all of your fall outfits! The best news? This one works with all skin tones too, so everyone can achieve that fiery copper eye look!

ShadesUnlike the Revealed 1 which contained warm browns and golds, Coastal Scents Revealed 2 has more cooler tones. It primarily consists of rosy shades, pinks and taupes. The palette contains a variety of finishes like matte, shimmer and sparkle. It is perfect for creating daytime as well as glamorous looks for the night. From highlighters to darker shades for the outerr corner, the versatile palette has you covered.

What it is: Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 is the sequel to the original Naked Basics palette. It consists of 5 matte shades and 1 satin shade. These shades are mostly neutral but are supposed to be a bit cooler-toned than those in the original Naked Basics Palette.

Combining 12 neutral shadows with a dual-ended shadow/crease brush and lip gloss, Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette is a great sequel to the original Naked palette.Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette

Onto the latest matte palette creation: Naked2 Basics Palette. Five never-before-seen shades are cooler in tone than the original. Six taupe-hued matte neutrals can work on any skintone from cool to olive complexions to darker skin.

I have worn all of these shades on my eyes now, and with a primer, they all last for a whole work day without noticeably fading or creasing. Some shades look better on me than others (Verve is too white/silver on my skin!), but that is not so much a point against the palette as it is a personal preference.

Current products include lip, eye, complexion and body products.[2] They are most well-known for their Naked collection, which includes twelve different eye shadow palettes. Its target market is women, although it is not limited to this range, and is also designed to appeal to customers who wish to purchase cruelty-free makeup.[3] Its products are sold at large department stores in the United States such as Macy's, Sephora, Ulta, Nordstrom, and from the official website,[4][5] as well as in several other countries such as Mexico and Germany.[citation needed]

Pink, red, and beige tones dominated the beauty industry palette until the mid-1990s.[6] In 1995, Sandy Lerner, a co-founder of Cisco Systems, and Patricia Holmes were at Lerner's mansion outside London when Holmes mixed raspberry and black to form a new color. Then, they decided to form a cosmetics company, which they named Urban Decay.[7] Launched in January 1996, it offered a line of ten lipsticks and 12 nail polishes. Their color palette was inspired by the urban landscape, with names such as Roach, Smog, Rust, Oil Slick, and Acid Rain.[8]

Recent celebrity ambassadors for Urban Decay include Ruby Rose and Nicole Richie.[14] In June 2019, Urban Decay announced its new motto "Pretty Different" and named five global citizens as their brand ambassadors - Ezra Miller, Lizzo, Joey King, Karol G, and CL.[15] A year later they announced three more ambassadors to promote their Naked Ultraviolet palette - Normani, G.E.M and Camila Mendes.[16] In January 2021, the South Korean worldwide idol group, Monsta X was announced as the brand's global ambassadors and the promotions will start in February.[17][18] 041b061a72
